Fauja Singh is 101. Fauja Singh from east London finishes in eight hours, 25 minutes and 18 seconds. God willing, is to be the oldest marathon runner ever. Believed to be the world's oldest marathon runner after running the Toronto marathon last year, 101-year-old Fauja Singh. Fauja Singh, believed to be the world's oldest marathoner at 101 years old, will be participating in the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore. Fauja Singh (Punjabi: ਫੌਜਾ ਸਿੰਘ) is a British centenarian marathon runner of Punjabi Sikh descent. He is a world record holder in his age bracket. Fauja Singh has only been running for 12 years, but he's had enough and now, at the age of 101, is preparing for what he says will be his last.  101-year-old Sikh regarded as the world's oldest marathon runner will quit after one final run at next month's Hong Kong race.  A Minnesota casino has cooked up a world-record bacon cheeseburger that's 3 metres in diameter and weighs more than a ton. The behemoth burger was served up on Sunday at the Black Bear Casino Resort near Carlton, Minnesota. Philip Robertson verified the record for biggest burger. It tipped the scales at 2,014lb, making it far larger than the previous record holder at 881lb 13oz. The monster patty took around four hours to cook using an outdoor oven. Black Bear’s burger included 60 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of sliced onions, 40 pounds of pickles and 40 pounds of cheese.

Li Zhiwei Longest Earthworm 2012

Li Zhiwei found the enormous earthworm in a gutter near his house in Binchuan County.  Zhiwei has decided to keep the worm in his backyard as a pet. people want a peek at the creepy-crawly creature.The worm has also attracted the interest scientists who want to figure out how it grew so big. The 19-inch invertebrate was found in the gutter of a house in south-west China and was originally mistaken for a snake. Li Zhiwei, a worker from the Forestry Bureau of Binchuan County, saw the huge worm out of the corner of his eye. Adult earthworms typically measure anywhere between 10mm long and 1mm wide to 1m long and over 25mm wide. The two-feet long earthworm inside the gutter of his home while drying out some Chinese dates in his backyard.  It looked like a snake, I looked carefully and found it was actually a huge earthworm. Before the earthworm makes its big move, scientists plan to study it to determine its classification and to determine how it could grow so long. Zhiwei's discovery is particularly surprising because the worm was found in an urban environment low in nutrition and full of risks. 

ANDREW LEAPER | OLDEST MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

A 98-year-old message in a bottle has been discovered off the coast of Shetland. Andrew Leaper is now the world record holder for discovering the oldest bottle set adrift. The drift bottle found by Andrew Leaper of the Copious in the North Sea in April this year . A Scottish fisherman has nabbed an unusual world record, after uncorking the oldest message ever found in a bottle. The bottle contained a postcard from June 1914 from Captain CH Brown from the Glasgow School of Navigation. Immensely proud to be the finder of the world record message in a bottle. It was one of 1,890 bottles released as part of a scientific experiment to chart the currents of the seas around Scotland based on where they were located. Leaper donated his finding as well as his certificate from Guiness World Records to his local community-run museum, the Fetlar Interpretative Centre in Shetland.

Besse Berry Cooper (née Brown; born August 26, 1896) is an American supercentenarian. Georgia woman Besse Cooper, the world's oldest person, celebrated her 116th birthday. One of her gifts was a bridge named after her by the city leaders. Born in 1896 in Tennessee, Cooper, who worked as a teacher. Her secret to longevity: "I mind my own business," Cooper said. "And I don't eat junk food." The supercentenarian is also a grandmother of 12, great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of one. The person with the longest human lifespan ever recorded was Jeanne Calment, of France, who was born in 1875 and died in 1997 at the age of 122. Ms. Cooper recalls being a vigorous tomboy in her youth, clearly a penchant for the important longevity principle of physical activity is part of her makeup. healthy diet, with a daily breakfast consisting of a bread roll, fruit and coffee.

MOLLY PALMER | WORLD RECORD MARLIN

Molly Palmer, standing at 5ft 9in, fought a 12-foot, half-ton marlin in the Pacific Ocean for more than four hours. The record fish was caught on a reel during The Big Island Invitational Marlin Tournament in Hawaii in August, 2012. Palmer's fish weighed in at 1,022.5 pounds, well over the record of 950 pounds almost landed the world record marlin but for a technicality will not get credit for.  She does, however, get the gold medal for honesty.  Molly and her husband are also surfers who spend tons of time on the water even when they are not fishing.

People who aggressively stuff powder up their noses. participants of the Snuff World Championship sniffing smokeless tobacco. Competitors from all over the world battle it out to put as much snuff up their noses as possible. It's snort pretty, but for these men and women black noses are the price of battling it out for snuff glory. Close to 300 men and women gathered in Peutenhausen, Germany.
