Game that Hacks your Brain

In a real-world scenario, the researchers foresee a game that is specially tailored by hackers to extract sensitive information from your brain. Using a commercial off-the-shelf brain-computer interface, the researchers have shown that it’s possible to hack your brain, forcing you to reveal information that you’d rather keep secret. software, which processes your brain activity and tries to work out what you’re trying to do (turn left, double click, open box, etc.) Universities of Oxford and Geneva, and the University of California, Berkeley — created a custom program that was specially designed with the sole purpose of finding out sensitive data, such as the location of your home, your debit card PIN, which bank you use, and your date of birth. To extract this information, the researchers rely on what’s known as the P300 response — a very specific brainwave pattern. The researchers basically designed a program that flashes up pictures of maps, banks, and card PINs, and makes a note every time your brain experiences a P300.

Rehovot Agronomy Genetically Modified Chicken

Scientists at the genetics faculty at the Rehovot Agronomy Institute near Tel Aviv, Israel have created a mostly featherless chicken by cross breeding a broiler (which are the big, meaty ones) with a species that has a featherless neck. The idea behind the development of this ugly thing is that it will create a more ‘convenient’ and energy efficient chicken which can live in warm countries where feathered chickens don’t do well and cooling systems are too expensive to be commonly affordable.

nikola tesla research unlimited energy

"It has been hitherto believed in physics that the total electric charge in the Universe is a constant quantity, and if additional charge appears in some region, it is only at the expense of the charge deficit in some other regions. It is a basic law that electric charge is conserved and cannot be destroyed or created. Precise experiments on a Space Power Generator (SPG) which has been now further developed to demonstrate the commercial viability of the newly discovered phenomenon of space power generation however, totally violate the existing law of conservation of charge, by generating output electrical power much in excess of the input electrical power. Since electric charge is a form of basic energy, the law of conservation of energy will need to be enlarged to incorporate in it the dynamics of absolute vacuum (Ref. 1), which in a state of rotation generates fundamental field to produce electrical charge and energy."

"At the face of it, it sounds unbelievable, that vacuum which is considered by current scientific theories as a void or a state of nothingness can ever generate energy out of its own substratum."

"Today's need for power is met by man at the cost of ecological balance that nature inherently devises through its forests, rivers, mountains and oceans, and atmospheric belt of air. The pollution of planet through excessive combustion of coal, oil and gases, deforestation and other hazards to the maintenance of clear environment in populated areas, will be prevented to a good extent with the development of power generation from Vacuum.

Maybe it is the final jump of progress in power generation technology that energy is produced from space, which is not only the cleanest resource for power, but will also outlive all forms of cosmic matter both inanimate and animate."

Honor killings

A teenage Muslim girl's body was found dumped in a forest the Crimean peninsula one week after she was reported missing. Local media initially reported that she was stoned to death by suspects claiming the 19-year-old has violated Sharia law by taking part in a beauty contest, a British newspaper reports.
Will Stewart of the Daily Mail writes that Koren's appeared to have suffered head injuries and been strangled.
However, the Daily Telegraph writes that local police are claiming "her killing had nothing to do with sectarian violence and that the girl had been killed by a psychologically troubled classmate who had given her a lift on his moped and then robbed and possibly raped her before battering her to death with a rock."
Sergei Reznikov, a senior policeman involved in the case, told the Telegraph: "A student did it, killing his classmate. There is no other underlying reason, neither religious nor linked with inter-ethnic conflicts."
Initial reports had indicated that three Muslim youths killed her, saying her death was justified under Islamic law because taking part in a beauty contest is a violation of it.
The Daily Mail reported that one 16-year-old suspect under arrest told police Koren had "violated the laws of Sharia."
According to an official report on a Crimean government website, the 16-year-old classmate confessed to her murder, and gave as his reason, "I just wanted to kill her."
While the area is home to some 250,000 Muslims, incidents of Sharia Law being enforced are almost unheard of, the Telegraph reports. The 16-year-old suspect allegedly has a history of mental health issues, and is being evaluated currently for whether he is of sound mind.

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim is Gaming Bliss For All Players

CHICAGO – “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” passes the ultimate test of the best role-playing games — entertaining tedium. RPG fans have to be willing to spend hours grinding away to upgrade their character or sometimes just trying to get from point A to point B. There’s a fine line between repetition that feels worthwhile and that which feels boring. Even doing the most mundane tasks in “Skyrim,” one knows they’re playing a near-miracle of a game, one of the best RPGs of all time.
For example, after one gaming session with “Skyrim,” it dawned on me that I had been playing roughly two hours and done little more than kill a few wolves, pick some flowers, talk to some NPCs, do some shopping, go through my inventory, before basically having a dragon fall on me like I was a fly under a swatter. In other words, it was a waste of time. But what a glorious, wonderful, addictive waste of time. I loaded up and started all over again. Of course, I’m kidding. Don’t start writing hate mail all of you already addicted to the world of “Skyrim.” You may notice this review is a bit later than usual for us. We did receive our copy a bit late but it’s also such a massive experience that not only is it hard to put into words but it’s difficult to leave in order to write. I’m not done with “Skyrim.” I’m not sure I’ll be done with “Skyrim” for years (especially if DLC comes into play). It’s not something you finish. Ask the people who have multiple characters trying multiple playing styles. It’s a place that becomes a part of your life, not merely one that serves as a setting for a game. It’s like adding a new room to your house. “I’m going to the living room. I’m going to the kitchen. I’m going to Skyrim.”
