Harry Potter Fannatic - steve petrick

This guy is just the best. He's created this elaborate video explaining why he's America's biggest Harry Potter fan so that he can win a Moviefone contest where the prize is being crowned America's Biggest Harry Potter Fan.
Harry Potter fans around have crowned their king and his name is Steve Petrick. The 22-year-old, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has won the title of World’s Biggest Harry Potter Fan after entering an online contest, last year, and posting a video of why he should get first place.
Steve Petrick was a die-hard fan of the fantasy world way before it was cool, and even though it pains him the movie series is coming to an end, he’ll be a fan even after its popularity wears off. A freshman fine arts major at Kent State, Petrick has been striving to become Harry Potter’s biggest fan since he first discovered Rowling’s books, and even though it took him 12 years to get the recognition he deserves, it’s never too late.
He spent around $13,000 on his collection and used it to turn his house into a shrine to his obsession. He also has four Harry Potter tattoos, including the Hogwarts crest on his shoulder, Sirius Black’s prison numbers on his neck and J.K. Rowling’s signature on his forearm, and has read each of the seven books in the series over 100 times

Nun who gave Elvis his first movie kiss hopes for funds

BETHLEHEM, Conn. • In the little town of Bethlehem, a cloistered nun whose luminous blue eyes entranced Elvis Presley in his first on-screen movie kiss is praying for a Christmas miracle.
Dolores Hart, who walked away from Hollywood stardom in 1963 to become a nun in rural Bethlehem, Conn., now finds herself back in the spotlight. But this time it's all about serving the King of Kings, not smooching the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
The former brass factory that houses Mother Dolores and about 40 other nuns cloistered at the Abbey of Regina Laudis needs millions of dollars in renovations to meet fire and safety codes, add an elevator and make handicap accessibility upgrades.
Like Mother Dolores, 73, the order's nuns have taken a vow to live, work and die at the complex. The order was established in 1947 in Bethlehem, a small burg in Connecticut's rolling western hills.
Now, the historically self-supporting nuns have launched a fundraiser for the $4 million renovation project dubbed "New Horizons." They don't have much money, but they have Mother Dolores: a starlet-turned-supplicant whose unique story might lure the attention and donations of generations of movie fans, particularly those who adore all things Elvis.
