Rome resident Mirko Curti stumbles upon tomb piled with bones. a 2,000-year-old tomb "piled with bones" and ancient Roman urns. similar to those used by the Romans to hold funeral urns appeared to be human bones littered the floor.. . The tomb was discovered just outside a residential area in the Roman city of Via di Pietralata. situated on both sides of a 20-foot-wide state-of-the art ancient road. Archaeologists called to the scene said the tomb probably dated from between the 1st century BC and the 2nd century AD. carbon date associated with any human bone remains found.
